HIGH DEFINITION POLARIZED LENSES

DSO Polarized lenses significantly reduce glare from reflected light that travels on a horizontal plane. This means

virtually any surface can be a source of glare. (Water, pavement, sand, ice and snow) DSO high-definition, Polarized lenses incorporate a specialized, polarized filter, which absorbs this light. The DSO polarized lens absorption reduces glare up to 99%. The resulting benefits of the DSO polarized lenses are less eye fatigue and unmatched optical clarity. As well as, increased contrast and better depth perception.

TYPES OF LENS MATERIALS

Polycarbonate Lenses

Many of our sport and fashion lenses are fitted with CNC machined Polycarbonate lenses. Polycarbonate sets the

standard of sport wrap frames. This material is unbreakable, but optically precise. This material allows us to exceed the physical limitations of traditional lens materials.

Many of our sport and fashion lenses are fitted with tac lenses. Tac stands for triacetate polarized lenses and

contains three laminated lenses. Tac lenses are very popular as they are extremely strong and durable.

Our collection of hand-made and Monel Alloy frames are fitted with CR39 lenses. Providing rich colors, scratch

resistance and optical clarity that is compatible with hand-made acetate frames.

Our entire collection of injected and luxurious hand-made acetate and monel alloy frames are RX compatible. This

Injection Mold Frames

Many DSO frames are made from one of the highest grades of nylon, Grilamid TR90. The superior quality of Grilamid

enables DSO frames to be significantly lighter, tougher,more flexible, and resilient. Grilamid allows shape memory

retention in all climates. All our Grilamid frames are fitted with a large stainless steel barrel hinge.

Premium propionate frames have a dark rich color, and a glossy finish that is very durable. DSO propionate frames are constructed with a wire-core in the temple for a custom fit. All of our propionate frames are fitted with a large stainless steel barrel hinge.

Each hand-made frame is engineered from limited edition materials. This process enables our craftsmen to create

luxurious and rich colors, as well as, unique and detailed textures. Our DSO signature finish is realized through a hand polishing method. We utilize unique, high quality stainless steel, optical hinges in all of our hand-made frames that are fused to a wire core for a custom temple fit.

DSO Monel alloy frames are created from three types of metal to create a light weight, but durable frame. Monel

alloy is malleable and corrosion resistant. Monel can be plated in many luxurious finishes.
